/ ˈbeɪ.kə /
Hebrew OriginEtymology
In Hebrew, Bekah (בֶּקַע) means "to divide" or "a half" — specifically the half-shekel unit of ancient currency. It is one of the oldest recorded units of value in human history, appearing in the Book of Genesis.
The Biblical Story
In the Book of Exodus, a bekah was the atonement tax — a half-shekel that every person, rich or poor, was required to pay equally. No exceptions. No hierarchy. A single, transparent, universal contribution. Equal and fair for all.
Why Bekah
Bekah the platform does exactly what the word means — it divides and settles. Fragmented payments are sorted, routed, and distributed precisely. Every merchant receives their share, transparently, automatically, and equally — regardless of which payment method the customer chooses.
The name is short, global, and memorable. And it carries a philosophy: technology that is fair by design.
The Problem
Most merchants in Southeast Asia run their entire business on instinct — no sales data, no inventory tracking, no way to serve the tourist who just walked in speaking Japanese. The tools that exist are either too expensive, too fragmented, or built for a different world.
Manual payment verification. Every QR payment still requires the merchant to physically check the customer's screen — causing delays and errors dozens of times a day.
POS infrastructure at zero. High-end terminals are out of reach for small merchants. No records, no reorder signals, no end-of-day reports.
Language is a wall. A Japanese tourist, a Chinese family, a Thai business traveler — each walks away if no one can take their order correctly.
Fragmented payments. Every payment app needs separate onboarding. The tourist's WeChat Pay, the local's BCEL — merchants cannot serve both from one system.

The Platform
Bekah is not an app. It is an operating system for the intelligent store — where a customer's spoken order becomes a kitchen ticket and a settled bank transfer in under three seconds.
01
A multilingual virtual employee that lives on every table. No app download. No wait. Just a QR scan and a conversation — in the customer's own language.
02
Your $150 Android phone, transformed into a complete store management system. Orders arrive in real time. The kitchen is always in sync. Nothing gets lost.
03
We do not compete with Alipay or BCEL. We build the road they all drive on. Every payment method — local or global — is accepted. Settlement flows to any bank account the merchant chooses.
How It Works
Three seconds. That is the gap between a customer's words and money in the merchant's account. Every step is automatic, recorded, and verified.
No app download. The AI Staff activates in under 2 seconds, greets the customer in their language, and presents the full menu with live availability.
A natural conversation in 60+ languages. The AI handles clarifications, ingredient questions, sold-out alternatives, and a final confirmation — all before the order leaves the table.
The confirmed order reaches the merchant's phone in under one second. A kitchen ticket prints automatically. Inventory is updated. No human relay required.
Local QR, global card, digital wallet. The payment engine routes to the right gateway automatically. A sound box confirms completion. The merchant never needs to check a screen.
Net proceeds transfer automatically to the merchant's chosen bank account — T+1, no manual steps. Every transaction is logged to an immutable ledger. The merchant's dashboard shows the full picture.
Open Payment Strategy
Bekah does not issue its own payment product. Instead, by owning the merchant's order interface, every payment — regardless of method — flows through Bekah's platform. The more merchants we serve, the more indispensable we become to every payment network that wants to reach them.
Banks want our SKU data for loan decisioning. Advertisers want our purchase-intent signals. Payment companies want access to our merchant network. All of them become our partners — not our competitors.
